What are we doing to prepare against the COVID 19?
Dear Savons Des îles community,
We know everyone is concerned about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus ) outbreak and the impacts it may have on our daily lives. We take the health and safety of our customers, staff, and community very seriously. As such, we want to share the precautions we have in place to mitigating the spread of COVID-19. Here are the things we want you to know.
SDI is open for business. We are a small business but manufactures our product in a safe and clean environment. We are being extra vigilant (and have always been since the debut of our operations) with maintaining a sanitary environment in our workshop area and have what we need to stay healthy. We also sanitize our working surfaces and tools regularly throughout the day and have excellent hand washing practices. You may have heard this over and over in our Facebook lives or videos on Social Media.
We are not expecting extended interruptions to business but are preparing for the possibility. We are shipping orders without interruption. If this should change, we will communicate it via email and posts on our website and social media. As far as we know, we do not anticipate any interruptions in our supply chain. If there are any delays, we will pass along that information. Just like many of you, we are monitoring the situation and taking guidance from the Center for Disease Control, and the World Health Organization as more information becomes available.
We hope that you keep yourselves, your families, and our communities healthy, and we sincerely hope everyone is able to resume their normal lives soon. Remember, washing your hands with soap and water, often, is the best way to keep hands clean. Keep your hands away from your face, avoid big gatherings and continue following the hygiene guidelines.
